Supervises line crew(s) involved in the installation, maintenance and repairs of the underground and overhead electric transmission systemEvaluates the performance of each crew member and initiates additional training or corrective action as may be necessary to bring performance up to standardAnalyzes operational methods and develops improved procedures as neededEstablishes and maintains electric line clearances with other utilities. Installs high-voltage connectors; transformers and switches in manholes and vaults, securing equipment, and cables; and various service lines, power poles, meters, and metering devicesRegularly reporting project status to supervisors, site engineers and other officialsSafety :
