Inventory Supervisor

Key Responsibilities :

1. Develop and implement inventory control policies, procedures, and standards.

2. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards in inventory management.

3. Oversee the monitoring and management of inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.

4. Track and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as inventory accuracy, turnover rates, and stock variance.

5. Collaborate with procurement and warehouse teams to align inventory strategies with operational needs.

6. Manage inventory reconciliation and ensure data accuracy through audits and cycle counts.

7. Optimize inventory processes to enhance operational efficiency and minimize losses.

8. Ensure the timely replenishment of stock items to support uninterrupted business operations.

9. Identify and mitigate inventory-related risks through effective risk management strategies.

10. Develop and maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, movements, and stock adjustments.

11. Provide leadership and guidance to the inventory control team, ensuring skill development and continuous improvement.

12. Ensure alignment of individual and team efforts with the organization's strategic goals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement to achieve desired outcomes.

Education & Experience :

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
• Minimum Experience :
• 5-8 years of experience in inventory control or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Professional / Technical Certificates :
• Certification in inventory management (e.g., CIPS, CPIM, CSCP) is preferred.
