Purchasing Representative

Job Summary

The Purchasing Representative is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials, supplies, and services necessary for company operations. This role ensures that purchases are cost‑effective, meet quality standards, and are delivered on time to support organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Make purchase of products or materials required by the direct manager.
• Set a daily itinerary to complete the required tasks to avoid delays.
• Save supplier warehouse locations and contact numbers of delegates.
• Follow up on delivery dates of orders and ensure supply on time.
• Address any complaints or issues related to purchased materials.
• Make a record of cash purchases and match them with the cash work order daily.
• Keep accurate records of all purchase transactions.
