General Job Responsibilities
Building and maintaining client relationships, negotiating contracts, and analysing market trends. They also lead the sales team, manage sales targets, and coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure customer satisfaction and maximize profitability.
Specific Job Duties
1. To develop, implement and monitor the Sales Plan and to achieve its goals and objective through planning, guidance and training of staff.
2. To continually assess and modify marketing programs based on identified target markets and market demand for services or facilities.
3. To direct the sales team to develop a client account base of prospective and existing customers.
4. To establish sales targets with staff and report monthly / annually on any negative variances compared to actual achieved sales, with recommendations for remedial action.
5. To conceive, co-ordinate and monitor all efforts related to the specific sales activities engaged in by sales personnel.
6. To direct the Market Information – Data Base Clerk working in the Marketing Department to ensure the development and maintenance of the Real Estate Information Database and Relationship Management Database.
7. Maintain a good working knowledge and understanding of the real estate, hospitality, leisure, and property market in the Gulf countries.
