Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a Mechanical Design Manager for City Assets to lead the mechanical design efforts for our cutting-edge urban developments. Education, Security, Religious and Healthcare projects As the Mechanical Design Manager, you will oversee the design and implementation of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire life & safety and other related mechanical systems) that support Education, Security, Religious and Healthcarefacilities within the city. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring that all systems are seamlessly integrated and contribute to the overall functionality and aesthetic of our development. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the mechanical design processes for city assets, ensuring alignment with project objectives, quality standards, and sustainability goals. Oversee the design of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems across various projects, ensuring they meet regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive design solutions that enhance the user experience. Review and approve design calculations, specifications, and drawings, ensuring design integrity and compliance with applicable codes. Conduct site visits to assess project progress, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and provide guidance to contractors and subcontractors. Provide mentorship to junior engineers and designers, fostering professional development and a collaborative work environment. Stay updated with the latest advancements in mechanical design technology, methodologies, and regulations to drive innovation and efficiency. Prepare and present technical reports and design proposals to stakeholders and senior management. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. A minimum of 15years of experience in mechanical design, with a focus on city projects or large-scale urban developments. Demonstrated expertise in HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection system design for diverse building types. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proven leadership ability, capable of motivating and guiding engineering teams toward successful project delivery. Familiarity with local building codes and mechanical engineering standards. Proficient in industry-standard design software and tools. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the capability to engage effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders. Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to addressing project challenges and ensuring successful outcomes. Committed to sustainability and innovative design practices. Experience in the design / construction of at least one of the following building types of Education or Security or Religious or Healthcare projects The opportunity to
