CBS is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of mechanical systems and components for various projects. You will leverage your extensive knowledge of mechanical engineering principles to ensure that designs are efficient, functional, and adhere to industry standards. Your responsibilities will include conducting design reviews, performing engineering analyses, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical systems with other disciplines. Responsibilities

Lead and execute the mechanical design process from concept through production, ensuring compliance with project specifications
Perform detailed engineering analyses, including stress, thermal, and fluid flow calculations
Develop and review technical documentation, including specifications, drawings, and manuals for mechanical systems
Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure cohesive project delivery and problem resolution
Mentor and support junior engineers and design staff in their development and project contributions
Participate in design reviews and projects meetings, presenting design concepts and updates to stakeholders
Stay up-to-date with the latest engineering technologies and industry trends to enhance design capabilities

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

A minimum of 18 years of experience in mechanical design engineering

Strong expertise in CAD software, such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar tools

Proven track record of managing mechanical design projects from inception to completion

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Professional Engineering license (PE) is preferred but not required
