HSEW Manager - (RC)

Overview

JASARA PMC is seeking an experienced HSEW Manager to lead health, safety, environment, and welfare initiatives across projects. You will help maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with national and international regulations. Responsibilities

Develop and implement HSEW policies, procedures, and strategies that align with organizational goals and comply with legal standards Conduct regular risk assessments, audits, and inspections to monitor HSEW practices and identify areas for improvement Lead HSEW training programs and workshops to ensure personnel are equipped with the necessary safety knowledge and skills Monitor and analyze HSEW performance metrics, preparing detailed reports for management review Coordinate incident investigations to determine root causes and ensure effective corrective actions are implemented Engage with external regulatory agencies and stakeholders to ensure compliance and facilitate communication on HSEW matters Promote a proactive safety culture among all employees, emphasizing the importance of individual responsibility for safety Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field 10+ years of experience in HSEW management, ideally in the construction or project management sectors Thorough knowledge of HSEW regulations, standards, and practices Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and engage diverse teams Proficient in conducting audits, risk assessments, and safety training Excellent analytical skills to interpret data and develop action plans Professional certification in HSEW (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) is preferred Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively report on HSEW matters Benefits
