Site Mechanical Engineer

(Riyadh & Eastern Region Projects), KSA This position involves leading site execution, coordination, and handover of MEP installations for garbage chute and related systems.

Responsibilities

Oversee the execution of garbage chute, waste systems, and related MEP installations from mobilization to final handover.

Manage site teams, including supervisors and laborers, ensuring adherence to daily plans and productivity targets.

Coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors for inspections, approvals, and project updates.

Monitor project progress systematically and prepare detailed progress reports.

Handle technical challenges on-site and provide practical solutions to prevent work disruptions.

Ensure compliance with HSE policies and quality procedures at the site.

Supervise testing, commissioning, and inspection of installed systems.

Liaise with the Technical Office regarding shop drawings and design clarifications.

Attend site meetings and ensure clear communication with all stakeholders.

Prepare site documentation and ensure fulfillment of all handover requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management or field execution.

Safety or quality management certifications are considered valuable.

Preferred background in the following areas :

Garbage chute and waste management systems

Elevators systems

Firefighting and safety systems

Pumping and piping systems

Swimming pools and water systems projects

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is an added advantage.

Saudi Arabia resident is a MUST

Work Conditions From 8 AM to 4 PM. 1 day off (Friday). Work Location : Saudi Arabia (KSA) Projects in Riyadh & Eastern Region.
