Responsibilities

Contact vendors, place orders, verify supplies, manage supply requisition and communicate with suppliers to determine expected delivery dates and inform Project Management of potential delays. Strategize and oversee activities related to receiving and dispatching shipments such as confirming accuracy of orders and generate reports on work progress, completion dates, production challenges, stock levels and costs by coordinating with different departments internally such as Design, Procurement, Project management and vendors / suppliers. Monitor project delivery timelines, check work quality against company requirements and specifications and ensure compliance with regulations. Plan and follow up delivery with vendor / suppliers to ensure material and equipment are arrived timely with minimize discrepancy and damages and in accordance our standard quality ordered. Assess into details monitoring and ensuring vendors / suppliers comply with P.O. delivery terms and conditions to avoid any delay in delivery. Act as focal point of coordination with field material department, end-users to clear pending materials receipt from vendors. Initiate progress meeting with vendors as and when required to update or discuss on the delivery progress. Prepare expediting reports on regular basis to update P.O. delivery status and support company needs. Coordinate vendors to provide us for track performance of P.O. from manufacturing to delivery of materials and equipment. Coordinate logistics with appointed contracting companies to ensure delivery as per agreed schedule. Maintain good relationships with vendor & subcontractors to get solid support on deliverable (both long-lead as well as short-lead items). Work in line with Company & client purchasing procedure according to the pre-qualification of suppliers. Coordinates invoices problems with vendor and accounting; resolves delivery requirements with vendor and supervision. Performs additional assignments per supervisor’s direction, such as Buyer / Purchaser role. Job Requirements and Qualifications : Bachelor of Engineering, and / or other related discipline. Min. 05 year experience in Manufacturer or EPC related to Oil & Gas Construction Industry. Experience to work related to Projects of Saudi Aramco, Sabic is preferred. Experience and training in the field of purchasing and must possess the ability to establish a wide range of market sources. Must be adept in the selection of products and construction materials and can estimate values according to prevailing market prices Middle East experience is mandatory and working experience with Samsung Engineering shall be an added advantage. Skills & knowledge : Must have strong interpersonal skills Ability to communicate effectively, confidently Should have good influence, networking skills Must have excellent skills in MS office (Word, Excel , PPT) Must have skills on report writing Should have good knowledge on EPC related industry and business process Must be fluent in English & Arabic both written and spoken Seniority level
