Job Purpose
Responsible for ensuring that all the Pipes and Couplers are manufactured to the quality standards laid down and that every item is inspected and stamped QC OK when ready for release to the Final Warehouse.

In-process inspection
Ensure only approved and QC accepted raw materials are used in the manufacturing processEnsure that the production process comply with the technical Know-How documents & Quality Assurance ProceduresConduct the refractive index check of the epoxy resin / hardener mix ratio to ensure it meets the set requirementsCheck and monitor the ambient temperature and humidityWitness the production processes and ensure that the relevant approved Raw Material Calculation and Machine Set ups are followed to meet the project requirementsInform the non-conformances immediately to the responsible Machine Captains and other employees in the Production and QC departments so corrective actions can be takenOnline / Offline Inspection of Pipes and Couplers
Inspect the Pipes and Couplers as per the requirements of product drawings following the inspection and testing programSelect QC samples during the production process as per the inspection program and / or project ITPs as applicableTrading materials inspection
Inspect the products purchased from the other manufacturing units or sub supplier and ensure that those products meet the project specification requirements and release them for deliveryInspect the locking strips, different types of gaskets such as Kroll and Ziller, O-rings, flat gaskets in order to ensure the quality meets the minimum specified requirementsNon-destructive testing
Conduct the non-destructive tests as per the ITP requirementWitness the routine hydro tests for the Pipes and CouplersDestructive Testing
Conduct the destructive tests in accordance to the ITP requirements and project commitments agreed with the Client / consultantWitness and monitor the short term and medium term survival tests periodically and ensure the tests are not affected with any climatic effects and successfully completed as per the project requirementsPreparation of reports, TPI inspection and release
Prepare the daily QC internal reports as well as project specific documentation (Manufacturing Record Book - MRB) to be submitted to the ClientCarry out the final inspection and release together with the Customer TPIs and Client TPIs for all the products comes under the major projects based on the project specific requirements. Also perform additional tests as per the ITP for the witness point of Customer / ClientStock counting
Participate and lead a small team of employees during the Half- yearly and Yearly stock counts to ensure that the physical inventory matches the ERP system inventoryCarry out monthly stock counting for the major raw materials in the stores warehouse and provide the actual data to the QC Engineer for monthly RM stock count reportMould & Socket Sleeve inspection
Carry out steel mould and socket sleeve inspection either at factory of at supplier’s premises as per the relevant engineering drawings to ensure that those moulds are manufactured as per the given approved drawingsHSE
Comply with relevant safety, quality and environmental control procedures and instructionsUse personal protective equipment and safety gear when performing assigned tasksKeep operational areas clean and well organized to prevent incidents and accidentsReport unsafe acts, incidents or safety violationsDevelop a safety culture by ensuring all staff comply with HSE policies and proceduresParticipate in QHSE audits, incident reporting and review of QHSE performances as requiredSkills
Required Qualifications :
Technical School Certificate / On Job TrainingMandatory - OCTG and API thread inspection experiencePreferred Experience :
At least 2 years of pipe manufacturing experienceEngineering Degree / Diploma (Civil or Mechanical)Job-Specific Skills :
