Job Description
The KFUPM Business School (KBS) and the Entrepreneurship Institute (EI) at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) invite qualified candidates to apply for faculty lecturer positions in the area of entrepreneurship and business administration. The individual will have two affiliations (KBS and EI) and is expected to be dynamic, energetic and collegial, championing the KBS and EI and their related academic programs and initiatives. The KFUPM Business School is the first business school in the region to receive AACSB accreditation more than 10 years ago. The school offers five B.S. degrees in Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Management, and MIS. It offers three graduate programs : Professional Masters (MX) in Supply Chain Management, MBA and EMBA degrees. The EI is an interdisciplinary entity that works with all colleges in the university and is committed to building entrepreneurial mindsets that will lead to high-growth, high-tech entrepreneurial startups as well as graduate entrepreneurial leaders.
Job Responsibilities
Candidates will assist in academic planning; advising, teaching classes within the various academic programs in both KBS and the EI (i.e., all ENTR-related courses, BUS200 (Business & Entrepreneurship) course, an eventual Entrepreneurship Minor and certificate program, the various entrepreneurship-related student organizations, and related research initiatives). Candidates are expected to actively engage in the college’s and institute’s co-curricular activities and short courses. They are also expected to mentor students engaged in entrepreneurial activities, including the EI incubator program and those working on entrepreneurship course projects. They should cultivate relationships within the University and collaboratively define / maintain the quality of students’ experiences within both KBS and the EI. Expected to teach courses on-campus at both the EI and the KBS with possible distance teaching assignments. Successful candidates are expected to contribute to case-writing initiatives and projects. They will be involved in related committee work on Entrepreneurship Education including ventures creation, fundraising, and promoting all entrepreneurship-associated curricular and co-curricular activities. Candidates are expected to meet the traditional requirements of excellence in teaching and service to the University and community.

Minimum qualifications are : 1) M.Sc. or MBA degree in Entrepreneurship or Business; 2) Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills; 3) A minimum of five years of entrepreneurship experience, such as creating or working in startups, and / or working for business incubators; 4) A record of outstanding education performance.
