Overview
Procurement Lead (Associate) Architect at AtkinsRéalis in AlUla, KSA. This role heads the program procurement element for the AtkinsRéalis Program Delivery Office (PDO) / Program Management Consultant (PgMC) in support of the AlUla Program, working with the Client and consultants. The Procurement Lead ensures procurement activities align with the Client's requirements and the AtkinsRéalis Framework Agreement, and may contribute to strategic procurement decisions. The role includes direct management of the procurement team and development of standardized procurement processes for the Program and projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day procurement activities for the Program and supervise the procurement team.
- Develop and implement standard procurement templates and procedures in collaboration with the Client and consultants; gain Client approval for policies and disseminate to PMC teams.
- Oversee procurement for the full lifecycle, including EOI, pre-qualification, NDA handling, RFP / ITT issuance, Tender evaluation matrices, technical and commercial evaluations, post-tender negotiations, and contract award recommendations.
- Provide input for strategic procurement decisions and extend PgMC scope to oversee other pre / post-contract PMCs as required by the Client.
- Collect live data on contractor performance, maintain procurement trackers, and identify process improvements with oversight from the Procurement Lead.
- Produce and review reports and trackers to ensure deliverables meet approved processes and address any risks to the critical path.
- Coordinate with the Client’s representatives and ensure compliance with approved processes and procedures.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum 20 years of experience with at least 12 years of commercial procurement / supply chain experience in relevant sector environments.Minimum 10 years of relevant procurement / supply chain management experience within construction, hospitality, arts & culture, healthcare & education, sports & leisure, or infrastructure sectors.BSc in construction management, engineering, architecture, or equivalent; MCIPS preferred.Strong client-facing skills and an entrepreneurial mindset; demonstrated strategic approach and methodology.Sector Background
