Senior Art Director

Overview

The Senior Art Director role at LEO MEA (Middle East & Africa) is for a proficient Art Director, adept at photo manipulation and compositing, with AI knowledge, tasked with conceptualizing and executing innovative visual strategies. The ideal candidate will work closely with a copywriter, project manager, marketing directors, technologists, content specialists, and AI tools to realize these ideas, effectively presenting them to captivate the audience and foster brand and business growth. Responsibilities include developing creative ideas that align with both our client's and our business objectives, upholding the company’s standards of creative excellence and professionalism. The role also involves managing multiple projects from inception to completion, utilizing both in-house resources and external vendors, and designing impactful visuals for a variety of digital and traditional media platforms.

Responsibilities

• Ideate, craft, and execute original and iconic creative concepts in response to client briefs, objectives, or goals
• Is responsible for the proper placement, context, and meaning of every image and graphic element within a creative assignment
• Develop creative ideas that meet both our client's objectives as well as our business objectives, maintaining the company’s expected levels of creative excellence and professionalism
• Present, share and review creative work with creative leadership, buisness leads and Planning Leads as well as members of the Management Team
• Manage multiple projects from concept through to completion, working with both in-house resources and third-party vendors
• Collaborate effectively with Account Management, Planning, and the broader creative team to develop disruptive and iconic work
• Develop creative ideas based on criteria in creative brief and / or direction from senior leadership, collaborating with team members and copywriters
• Create and design visuals across a wide range of on and offline channels
• Create in-brand layouts and experiences by applying graphic design principles such as color, typography, the photographic selection that create a compelling and visually attractive story for audiences
• Provide a rationale for design choices; assure design meets business objectives whilst creating a compelling journey across touchpoints
• Develop a style of the presentation for existing concepts / directions; determine the best format to execute ideas
• Define outlines and storyboards for animations or video (identifying the range of assets to be used, the story to be told)
• Research and identify trends in design language and branding and provide recommendations to our internal teams and partners
