Job Description
Conduct structural inspections in accordance with NOV procedures and applicable standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct structural inspections per NOV procedures.
- Identify and assess structural defects, corrosion, or fatigue, and recommend corrective actions.
- Supervise and support repair, refurbishment, and modification activities on rig structures.
- Review and verify related technical documentation.
- Prepare detailed service and inspection reports with findings, recommendations, and follow‑up actions.
- Coordinate with engineering, fabrication, and quality teams to ensure accurate execution of repair plans.
- Provide on‑site technical support during rig‑up, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Maintain compliance with all safety and quality requirements while working in field environments.
- Support customers by ensuring timely communication and professional service delivery.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, civil, or structural engineering (or equivalent).Strong understanding of rig structure design, load path analysis, and welding inspection principles.Experience with API and NOV inspection standards (PI4G, DS‑1, etc.).Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and reporting skills.Willingness to travel and work in rig sites, fabrication yards, or offshore environments.About Us
