Job Purpose Statement :
Maintain and continually improve the Safety Management System (SMS) and Emergency Response Plan (ERP) at the assigned work location.
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Conduct and review HIRARC (Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control) documents annually or as needed, and keep records up to date.
- Perform periodic safety inspections across all areas under the region, including Units, Ramps, Camps, and lounges.
- Assist in the ongoing development and execution of the internal evacuation plan.
- Ensure compliance with relevant safety legislation.
- Organize ISO 45001 : 2018 internal and external audits, as well as corporate safety inspections, to ensure standard compliance.
- Support units in maintaining GACA R151 Certification.
- Initiate, identify, and organize safety training for employees, including supervisors and managers.
- Conduct monthly safety committee meetings and communicate the outcomes to all participants.
- Review and approve safety plans of all subcontractors.
- Supervise regional safety specialists.
- Organize drills in units and camps at least once a year.
- Record and report accidents / incidents and participate in investigations.
- Maintain PPE inventory and ensure compliance.
- Ensure all equipment safety inspections are conducted as scheduled.
- Respond promptly to all internal safety correspondence.
- Verify the effective implementation of corrective and preventive actions from accidents, audits, and inspections.
- Review regional safety reports monthly, prepare consolidated reports, and share with management.
- Participate in internal and external meetings focused on safety.
- Keep the Senior Safety Manager informed on all regional safety matters.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned, in accordance with Saudi Labor Law and cybersecurity policies.
