Sr Commissioning Engineer (Saudi Arabia)

Eram Talent, a leading Talent Acquisition Consultancy specializing in engineering and technical recruitment, is seeking a skilled Commissioning & Start Up Engineer (I&C) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will oversee the commissioning process for various engineering projects, connecting highly qualified professionals with major clients across diverse sectors to ensure operational excellence and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities :

Plan, execute, and oversee the pre-commissioning and commissioning of systems and equipment in construction projects, ensuring they operate according to design specifications, safety standards, and client requirements.

Develop detailed commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules.

Collaborate with design, engineering, and construction teams to ensure readiness for commissioning.

Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and stakeholders throughout the commissioning process.

Supervise the installation, testing, and start-up of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.

Conduct functional tests, performance evaluations, and system verifications.

Identify and troubleshoot issues during commissioning and ensure corrective actions are implemented.

Prepare and maintain commissioning documentation, including test reports, punch lists, and handover packages.

Ensure all systems meet operational and safety standards before final handover.

Provide training and technical support to operations and maintenance teams.

Minimum Requirements :

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related fields).

8-10 years of experience in pre-commissioning and commissioning within construction, industrial sectors, preferably with Saudi ARAMCO projects.

Strong knowledge of PLC / DCS / SCADA systems, instrumentation, and control systems.

Understanding of commissioning best practices and methodologies.

Experience leading commissioning teams and managing complex engineering projects.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work under pressure and adhere to strict timelines.

Proficiency in relevant project management and commissioning software tools.
