Position Overview

The Electrical and Mechanical Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of all electrical and mechanical systems. This role is crucial for ensuring the reliable and safe operation of equipment, preventing downtime, and troubleshooting issues. The technician will perform a mix of preventative maintenance and emergency repairs, working closely with engineering and operations teams to uphold the highest standards of safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintenance and Repair : Perform routine preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment, including motors, pumps, conveyors, and control systems. Diagnose and repair faults in a timely manner.
• Installation : Install new electrical and mechanical equipment following schematics, blueprints, and manufacturer specifications.
• Troubleshooting : Use technical expertise and diagnostic tools to identify and resolve complex issues with machinery and systems.
• Safety and Compliance : Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, industry regulations, and company policies. Ensure all work is performed to a high standard of quality and safety.
• Documentation : Maintain accurate records of all maintenance, repairs, and installations. Log work orders, parts used, and completed tasks in the maintenance management system.
