JOB SUMMARY The BIM Manager is responsible for leading the development and implementation of the BIM (Building Information Modeling) strategy for projects, ensuring collaborative workflows, and maintaining the highest standards of model integrity and compliance. Working closely with project managers, BIM coordinators, and various internal and external stakeholders, the BIM Manager will ensure that BIM standards, processes, and technology are used effectively to support successful project delivery. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Authoring the BIM Project Execution Plan. Maintaining the BIM Project Execution Plan. Ensuring collaborative behaviors are fully complied across the project. Implementation of BIM standards, processes and enabling technology to support project delivery; coordinating the project needs for IT solutions. Generally ensuring that the BIM Project Execution Plan is followed through the project duration. Kicking off the project internally with the Project Manager, Project BIM Coordinator, and discipline BIM Author / Leads. Providing client representation on behalf of DAO regarding BIM work, as required. Liaising with the Client for all matters relating to BIM. Liaising with external parties (subconsultants, design architects, etc.) regarding DAO BIM submission requirements. Ensuring BIM roles and responsibilities are allocated and executed correctly. Organizing weekly internal project meetings. Performing QA / QC checks on discipline models to ensure compliance with project’s BIM standards at project milestones. Organize and chair meetings to manage and resolve coordination issues resolution on a periodic basis. Providing support to the project team to ensure efficient delivery of project information; attending design review and coordination meetings / workshops (as required). COMMUNICATION OUTSIDE THE COMPANY Act as the primary point of contact for all BIM-related communications with clients, sub-consultants, design architects, and other external parties, providing clear and consistent information on requirements, updates, and compliance matters. COMMUNICATION WITHIN THE COMPANY Collaborate closely with heads of department, project managers, BIM coordinators, and discipline leads to ensure clear communication and alignment on BIM standards and project requirements. EXPERIENCE A minimum of ten years of work experience in the relevant field, with proven experience managing BIM processes on complex projects EDUCATION Bachelor's degree in Architecture, or a related field.
