Job Description - Precision Termination Tool (PTT) Coordinator ) BAE Systems is the UK Government’s nominated Prime Contractor under Government-to-Government arrangements to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) aircraft and train RSAF and Royal Saudi Naval Force personnel in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons in a training environment. The Job Holder deputises for a senior company employee within the Typhoon Maintenance Organisation, responsible for the Precision Termination Tool (PTT), air electrical and battery bays, compliance and continuous improvement, and holds company line management responsibilities commensurate with the role. This includes providing functional direction and guidance, exercising duty of care, welfare, health & safety and discipline of all employees under their control. To provide effective leadership for the development, management and delivery of all activities and personnel in their area of responsibility. Support Salam Project success against the Maintenance Support Service contracted Operational Readiness (OR) and Key Performance Measurements (KPM). Responsibilities

Uphold a safety-first approach, implementing safety measures and guidelines to protect personnel, product and operations. Support and promote Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) and Product Safety & Environment (PSE). Compliance :
Ensure adherence to BAE Systems Operational Framework, Life Cycle Management (LCM) practices, Maintenance & Continuing Airworthiness (M&CA) Mandates, Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE), and Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) Logistics Management Regulations (LMR) to meet contractual obligations. Support :
Enhance customer satisfaction in maintaining, airworthiness, safety and continual improvement. Develop new ways to improve the customer experience or grow the maintenance organisation. This includes creating personnel development programs for both company and customer employees and implementing new processes and procedures. Continuous Improvements (CI) :
Drive a culture of CI throughout the maintenance organisation, encourage innovative ideas and initiatives, and apply industry best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in maintenance processes and create a sustainable future. Job Accountabilities
Accountable to their Primary Line Manager; direct access to Secondary Line Manager to provide an independent route to address issues within the PTT, air electrical and battery maintenance. Review maintenance practices and identify potential capacity for improvements within the organisation. Recognise malpractice affecting airworthiness or safety and raise concerns to the Senior Maintenance Manager. Ensure manpower and facilities resources are available to enable duties and contractual obligations. Monitor standards of personnel to identify negative trends, non-conformities or motivational deficiencies. Accountable for development reports within their direct and indirect line management within their Area of Responsibility. Provide a working environment of trust with clear standards of behaviour as per the company Code of Conduct. Provide training, consolidation and counterpart development activities; ensure personnel undertaking maintenance are authorised. Ensure tasks are completed within designated timeframes to support Forward Maintenance and SMU activities. Manage operational readiness of shop equipment and required calibrations; ensure correct tooling and approved data, raising media for deficiencies in approved data (e.g., TPRFs, TQs). Report damages or deficiencies to equipment and infrastructure using the appropriate channels (e.g., IDR, MDR, CAR, SORT, ). Maintain anti-FOD surveillance and report hazards with regular shop and component oversight checks. Ensure maintenance tasks meet high-quality standards and are recorded in ESS and IMS as applicable. Conduct oversight checks to ensure high standards of shop husbandry. Manage the TTP131 spreadsheet to reflect forecasted planning and highlight deficiencies or delivery / FDD issues with consumables & PPE. Manage serviceability of all PTT items and maintain the database for PTT results and samples. Manage wiring husbandry training syllabus, ensuring it remains relevant, and conduct annual training for required personnel. Maintain effective communication and coordination with maintenance teams, engineering departments, and management. Recruitment Specification
A recognised qualification to NVQ3 / ONC / OND / BTEC level in a relevant technical discipline, or a technical apprenticeship, or an equivalent qualification acceptable to M&CA. Extensive post-qualification practical maintenance experience within an operational flying aircraft environment with formal recorded related training, or extensive proven experience on the same aircraft type. Substantial experience in a relevant management role. Experience working knowledge of EASA Part 145. Leadership skills and proven ability to supervise all levels of engineering personnel. Holds 2nd signature. Must hold a recognised PTT QA qualification. Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) membership at the appropriate level prior to starting; SCE membership to be maintained throughout employment in KSA. Thorough understanding of company processes and procedures; broad aerospace and defence industry knowledge. Proven supervisory experience within the defined area; understanding of RAF and / or RSAF engineering operating procedures. Track record of meeting strict deadlines without compromising standards and quality. Previous experience of delivering workplace training. Understanding of ESS / IMS or similar electronic reporting systems. Product Safety and SHE Responsibilities

The Job Holder is to comply with the Salam Enterprise Safety and Environmental Management Plan and, where appropriate, any sub-project safety management plans.
