Director of Health, Safety and Loss Prevention FAENA The Red Sea is building a world‑class luxury destination in Saudi Arabia. As we open this iconic resort, we seek a visionary leader to safeguard the wellbeing of guests, residents, and employees while protecting our property assets.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and continuously refine health, safety, and loss prevention strategies, policies, and programs.
Establish a culture of safety awareness and proactive risk management across all divisions.
Lead the property’s emergency preparedness and crisis response plans, ensuring readiness through training, simulations, and regular reviews.
Oversee investigations related to accidents, incidents, or loss, ensuring timely resolution and reporting in line with global best practices.
Collaborate closely with Engineering, People & Culture, and Operations teams to maintain compliance with environmental, health, and occupational safety standards.
Maintain relationships with local authorities, emergency services, and regulatory agencies for seamless coordination.
Design and deliver comprehensive training programs on workplace safety, fire prevention, and emergency response.
Evaluate and recommend the latest technologies and best practices in security and safety management systems.
Manage departmental budgets, risk assessments, audits, and performance reports, providing data‑driven insights to enhance safety and operational excellence.
Qualifications
5–7 years of leadership experience in Health, Safety, Security, or Loss Prevention within luxury hospitality, resort, or mixed‑use environments.
Proven success in pre‑opening projects and establishing safety management systems in large‑scale operations.
Strong knowledge of international health and safety standards, local KSA regulatory requirements, and risk management frameworks.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to train, influence, and inspire diverse teams.
Certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA strongly preferred.
Fluency in English required; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
