The Workforce Planner is responsible for forecasting workforce needs, analyzing trends, and developing strategic staffing plans to ensure the right number of employees are in the right place at the right time. This role plays a key part in optimizing workforce productivity, supporting business growth, and aligning manpower planning with organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain short- and long-term workforce plans based on business needs and growth projections.
- Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing requirements, upcoming projects, and operational needs.
- Analyze workforce data (headcount, turnover, productivity, etc.) to provide accurate forecasts and actionable insights.
- Monitor and update workforce models to ensure alignment with company strategy and budget.
- Create reports and dashboards to track workforce trends and provide recommendations to leadership.
- Support talent acquisition and HR operations teams with manpower planning and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies related to workforce planning.
- Participate in organizational restructuring, expansion projects, and workforce optimization initiatives.
- Recommend workforce planning strategies to improve efficiency and cost control.
- Maintain workforce planning systems and tools.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.Minimum 3–5 years of experience in workforce planning, HR planning, or manpower analysis.Strong analytical and forecasting skills with attention to detail.Advanced proficiency in Excel and workforce planning tools.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Experience in the F&B, retail, or service industry is a plus.Fluency in English (Arabic is an advantage).Seniority level
