About The Job
INTECH Automation Intelligence is seeking a Lead Insturmentation Engineer – WHCP to join our dynamic Wellhead and Skids Solutions team. This role is pivotal in supporting Modular Skid Packages, Wellhead Control Panels, and Pressure Regulation Systems to enhance the safe and efficient operation of oil and gas systems. You will be responsible for leading the end-to-end engineering, design, testing, and commissioning of Wellhead Control Panels and instrumentation systems while ensuring technical excellence and compliance with international standards.
What You’ll Lead And Deliver
- Engineering & Design : Lead the end-to-end engineering design of Wellhead Control Panels, Safety Shutdown Systems, and associated instrumentation.
- Prepare hydraulic sizing calculations and Electrical and Heat Load Calculations for an I&C system.
- Prepare, review, and manage the issuance of technical documents, including Hydraulic / Pneumatic Schematics and Instrument Datasheets.
- Select appropriate field instruments and control system components.
- Ensure design compliance with international codes and standards.
- Proposals & Estimations : Support proposal and estimation teams in technical clarifications, sizing calculations, and system configuration.
- Evaluate vendor proposals and participate in bid evaluations.
- Project Planning and Execution : Drive project planning and lead technically complete project lifecycles.
- Work with other engineers, technicians, and stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and operation of WHCP / Instrumentation / control systems.
- Documentation : Lead the preparation and timely submission of engineering documentation for customer approval.
- Maintain project documentation, including technical manuals and test reports.
- Develop and update design templates and standardization tools.
- Testing, Commissioning & Site Services : Lead FAT and SAT with clients.
- Prepare detailed test procedures and commissioning protocols.
- Coordinate field service engineering during commissioning / start-up phases.
- Troubleshoot instrumentation & control issues at site or remotely.
- Troubleshooting : Diagnose and resolve issues related to WHCP and I&C system performance and functionality.
- Customer and Stakeholder Management : Act as the primary technical interface to the customer throughout the project lifecycle.
- Handle technical queries, NCRs, and warranty / service complaints.
- Support customers for all post-delivery support matters.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering.8-12 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas EPC / project execution environment.Strong command over Pneumatic & hydraulic Systems, Control systems, and relevant industry standards and regulations.Strong technical aptitude, excellent communication and presentation skills, and proven ability to lead engineering projects independently.We Offer Competitive Benefits
