Senior Database Geologist

The Senior Database Geologist supports the Chief Database Geoscientist in implementing changes to importing procedures and database customizations. They are also responsible for continually reviewing and maintaining the integrity and quality of exploration data. The role includes training users in database software and assisting in data importation.

Qualifications and Skills :

• Extensive knowledge of SQL and SQL Server Management Studio.
• Extensive experience with Fusion, DataShed, or Aquire.
• Focus on error prevention rather than error correction.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to recognize anomalous data.
• Ability to integrate exploration principles with data management.
• Knowledge of Python and big data analytical tools is an advantage.
• Skill in Business Intelligence visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) is an advantage.
• Multi-cultural experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Open-mindedness and adaptability to the needs of the exploration team.
• Logical and organized approach.
• Ability to follow up to ensure timely task completion and quality results. Agile and adaptable to changes.
