Network Administrator

About the Role :

Provide a brief description of the role, responsibilities, and what the ideal candidate looks like.

Knowledge of TCP / IP, routing, switching, network security, firewalls, network operating systems and network hardware.

Experience in Network monitoring and management tools (such as Wireshark, SolarWinds or Opentext).

Problem‑solving and analytical skills.

Install latest patches and software upgrades for all systems including routers, switches and firewalls.

Identify and mitigate system vulnerabilities in an accurate and timely fashion.

Maintain and monitor various network and security devices as firewalls, routers and IDS‑IPS etc.

Develop security management / change management and compliance documents.

Recommend changes to the security policy and monitor compliance.

Ensure integrity of the backups and restore procedures.

Experience in Trellix Antivirus solution, EDR and XDR would have an added advantage.

Assist in IT infrastructure security planning, development and implementation.

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned related to IT Network and Security infrastructure.
