Overview
Role Purpose : To provide technical support for electrical systems across diverse construction projects, ensuring accurate documentation, timely coordination, and compliance with design standards and authority regulations. The engineer will act as a key link between design, procurement, and site execution teams.
Responsibilities
- Design & Drawing Management
Review architectural and structural drawings to extract the electrical scope.
Prepare and update shop drawings, load schedules, and single-line diagrams.Ensure drawings meet project specifications and local authority codes.Material & Procurement CoordinationPrepare material submittals and technical comparisons.
Issue purchase requests and follow up on supplier deliveries.Verify material compliance with approved specifications.Documentation & ReportingMaintain logs for drawings, RFIs, submittals, and approvals.
Prepare as-built drawings and technical documentation for handover.Support in preparing progress reports and billing documentation.Technical CoordinationLiaise with consultants, site engineers, and subcontractors to resolve design conflicts.
Attend coordination meetings and contribute to technical planning.Ensure electrical systems meet safety, healthcare, and residential standards.Qualifications & Competencies
The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.Proficiency in Revit and Microsoft Office is essential. Familiarity with AutoCAD , Dialux , or other electrical design tools is a plus.The candidate should possess strong attention to detail , with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.Excellent communication and coordination skills are required to collaborate effectively with site teams, consultants, and suppliers.The ideal candidate should be eager to learn , organized , and capable of working under pressure in a fast-paced project environmentSeniority level
