About the hospital

This National Guard Hospital was opened in Dammam on October 14th, 2002. It is internationally accredited by JCIA. The hospital accommodates 125 beds, an Intensive Care Unit of 6 beds, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of 5 beds, 4 Operation Rooms, and 4 Delivery Rooms. Outpatient clinics cater for 7000 patients monthly and the hospital receives 4000 emergency patients per month.

Specialized clinics in the following disciplines : General Surgery, Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology, Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Family Medicine, Ophthalmology, Dentistry, Endocrinology, Orthopaedic Surgery, Pulmonary, and Neurology. All clinics are equipped with the latest equipment and advanced technology.

Qualifications Required

If you wish to apply for this position, you will require the following to qualify as a consultant with this institution, and as per the licensing authorities :

• 3 years Consultant experience in a Western hospital
• 3 years post specialist qualification experience from the following countries :
• UK – CCT
• USA – American Board
• Canada – Canadian Fellowship
• Ireland – CSD / CSCST
• Australia & New Zealand (Fellowship)
• France – DES / DESC / CIS / DIS / French Board
• Germany - Facharzt with sub speciality board
• Other European countries according to the qualification equivalence tables of the SCFHS
