Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities
Provide medical and surgical care for patients admitted under the assigned department. Ensure timely reporting and handling of all medico-legal cases in accordance with hospital policies. Participate in clinical and academic activities, including training sessions and departmental meetings. Contribute to patient and family education regarding healthy lifestyles, and support community awareness on health-related matters. Maintain regular attendance, punctuality, and adherence to duty schedules. Comply with all hospital policies, procedures, and ethical standards. Obtain informed consent from patients before undertaking diagnostic procedures, operations, or tests. Support and participate in patient-centered care initiatives. Provide orientation, bedside teaching, and supervision for interns, residents, and fellows as assigned. Engage in continuous self-development and contribute to the training and educational programs of the department. Deliver patient care with compassion, dignity, and respect. Perform other tasks and duties aligned with professional knowledge, skills, and responsibilities. Requirements
Education / Professional Qualification
Graduate of a recognized Medical School. Completion of internship and residency training. Postgraduate qualification in the relevant specialty.
Experience
Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in the specialty after obtaining postgraduate qualifications, preferably in a tertiary care hospital. Subspecialty degree or structured training is an advantage.
Licensing / Certification / Training
Membership, Fellowship, or Board Certification in the respective specialty. Valid professional license from the country of origin, eligible for recognition by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties and the Ministry of Health.
