RM MM Superintendent (Rolling Mill Mechanical Maintenance Superintendent)
Key Responsibilities & KRAs
- Maintenance & Shutdown Planning Oversight : Execute mechanical maintenance plans in coordination with the Rolling Mill.
- Assess mechanical failures and recommend corrective measures.
- Ensure availability of required mechanical spare parts.
- KRA : Minimize unplanned shutdown time due to mechanical failures.
- Support in preparation of annual mechanical maintenance budgets and material requirements.
- Follow up on procurement and timely delivery of spare parts and consumables.
- KRA : Maintain budget variance within acceptable limits.
Reporting & Documentation
Prepare technical reports, operating manuals, and documentation as required.KRA : Ensure timeliness and quality of reports.Employee Relations & Training
Ensure all employees comply with HSE training requirements.Proactively pursue personal and team training to enhance expertise and management capability.Address employee grievances in a timely and professional manner.KRA : Training penetration and employee engagement.Communications & Working Relationships
Internal : Close coordination with all relevant O&M functions.External : Contractors, equipment suppliers, and service providers.Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).Experience
15+ years of experience in the steel industry, specifically rolling mills.Technical & Managerial Skills
Proven leadership and day-to-day management ability.Strong organizational and planning skills.Independent thinker with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong communication (oral & written English) and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCut, and SAP.High energy and resilience under pressure.Ability to adapt in dynamic, challenging environments.Strong teamwork and collaboration.Commitment to ethical standards and compliance.Effective time management for self and team.#J-18808-Ljbffr
