Process Engineer (Melt Shop) - Steel

Responsibilities

• Support the efficient and safe operation of Melt Shop (EAF / LF) by monitoring processes, analyzing performance data, and recommending improvements to achieve production, quality, and cost objectives.
• Provide technical support to production crews and ensure compliance with operating procedures.
• Monitor EAF / LF processes for compliance with SOPs.
• Analyze process data and identify performance gaps.
• Recommend adjustments to improve yield, reduce consumption, and optimize productivity.
• Support cost reduction initiatives.
• Assist shift leaders in troubleshooting process deviations.
• Ensure coordination with casting and rolling units.
• Support Section Head in implementing best practices.
