We are seeking an innovative and strategic Director - Procurement (CDU754) to lead our procurement operations. In this role, you will be responsible for devising and implementing procurement strategies that maximize value, drive efficiency, and align with our ambitious project goals.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies to support the organization's strategic objectives and project requirements.
- Oversee all procurement activities, ensuring adherence to best practices, compliance with regulations, and optimization of purchasing processes.
- Lead negotiation efforts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions while minimizing risk.
- Build and maintain robust relationships with key suppliers, enhancing collaboration and performance.
- Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities for cost reduction, quality enhancement, and innovation.
- Work closely with project teams to define procurement needs and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of procurement professionals to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
- Prepare and present procurement performance reports and recommendations to senior management.
- Implement and utilize procurement technology to improve efficiency and effectiveness in procurement processes.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.A minimum of 10-15 years of experience in procurement, preferably in large-scale projects in the entertainment, hospitality, or construction sectors.Proven track record of developing and executing procurement strategies that drive efficiency and cost-effectiveness.Exceptional negotiation skills and a strong understanding of supplier management.Excellent leadership capabilities with a focus on team development and achieving results.Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data for strategic decision-making.Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in procurement software and tools to enhance operational effectiveness.
