Job descriptionNo less than one year of supervisory experience overseeing production of 20 employees who operate mills, mixers and extruders or comparable industry machinery No less than one year experience directly involved in the handling, weighing and formulation of pigments / raw materials that make paint. Computer expertise in Microsoft Office systems with a strong emphasis on Excel Some knowledge of the use of SAP, Oracle Understanding of and history complying with safety regulations per OSHA mandates and laws
Overview
Production Supervisor
We are seeking a production supervisor for the day shift running Monday through Thursday from 5 : 00 AM to 3 : 00 PM.
Responsibilities
- Capable of supervising / assisting in machine clean-up and simple maintenance of extruders and mills.
- Ability to lead a work force efficiently and respectfully.
- Good grasp of the employee protection laws and the need to work closely with HR, Customer Service and Shipping.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
