Role Purpose
The Project Engineer is responsible for the engineering and technical disciplines needed to complete a project. Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans and conferring with management. Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards.
Execution at site
- Preparing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring the assigned scope in assigned projects.
- Activities related to assigned projects (completion of approved scope at approved budget and on time).
- Monitoring compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA / QC policies, performance standards and specifications.
- Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status.
- Assign responsibilities and mentor project team.
- Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
- Supervise sub-contractors’ work.
- Daily interaction with client representatives and collecting their feedback.
- Cooperate and communicate effectively with the Project Manager.
- Supervise project team at site.
- Proper documentation and archiving for project information.
- Daily reporting to the Project Manager.
- Review and approve draft as-built drawings.
Necessary Knowledge and Experience
Minimum 2-5 years of experience as project engineer.Education and Certification Minimum Requirements
Technical Skills
Understanding of PMI standards for project management.Understanding of AutoCAD, MS Projects, MS Office and any needed software tool.Self-motivated – results oriented with high adaptability.Follow up & tracking skills.Commitment to company\'s HSE & quality policy.Good command in English & Arabic.Seniority level
