Project Engineer

Role Purpose

The Project Engineer is responsible for the engineering and technical disciplines needed to complete a project. Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans and conferring with management. Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards.

Execution at site

• Preparing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring the assigned scope in assigned projects.
• Activities related to assigned projects (completion of approved scope at approved budget and on time).
• Monitoring compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA / QC policies, performance standards and specifications.
• Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status.
• Assign responsibilities and mentor project team.
• Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
• Supervise sub-contractors’ work.
• Daily interaction with client representatives and collecting their feedback.
• Cooperate and communicate effectively with the Project Manager.
• Supervise project team at site.
• Proper documentation and archiving for project information.
• Daily reporting to the Project Manager.
• Review and approve draft as-built drawings.
