Job Position : Principal Engineer - Piping
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution, with 15 years of relevant experience in Design Engineering of Oil & Gas projects with minimum 3 years of working experience in Saudi Arabia.
- Must be registered with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
- Proficiency in relevant engineering software and knowledge of industry-specific codes and standards (in line with Saudi Aramco).
- Proficient in English (speaking, reading, and writing), Arabic is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to plan, design, and execute engineering projects based on technical specifications.
- Analyze and interpret project data, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Prepare & review reports, technical documentation, cost & manpower estimates, and risk assessments (TBE, Vendor packages, etc.)
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, leadership and decision-making abilities.
- Provide engineering solutions to problems encountered during construction or operations.
- Participate in progress meetings, quality checks, and audits.
- Apply continuous improvement and innovation principles to project work.
- To actively train and encourage the development of staff to fulfil process and systems engineering roles.
- Actively participate in discipline specific Design reviews, Model reviews, HAZOP, HAZID, Engineering Best practices etc. as applicable.
- Judicious allocation of workload to ensure optimum utilization of resources.
