Overview Wood is currently recruiting for a TPE V / Principal Piping Engineer to join our project in Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia.

Ability to comprehend and interpret technical information applicable to the discipline of engineering.
Demonstrates the application of theory in a practical context.
Good communication skills and a collaborative, issue-resolving mindset.
Experience on major projects completed in S3D / E3D environments.
Provide discipline expertise to the business and produce a range of engineering deliverables (including complex tasks).
Evaluate, select, and adapt standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform tasks.
Execute standard and straightforward engineering activities, potentially unsupervised on many aspects of work.
Perform design engineering and analysis, acting as document originator with responsibility for related deliverables.
Create and review designs, drawings, specifications, and other engineering deliverables involving existing and new technology and applications.
Address problems that involve new concepts and varied issues requiring technical expertise and innovation.
Establish detailed designs and performance specifications to fulfill general component, system, or process requirements.
Plan and carry out steps with guidance from policies and precedents; manage discipline cost, schedule, and progress reporting.
Recommend changes in plans and estimated cost when necessary.
Develop a range of engineering deliverables, including specifications, calculations, reports, and technical requisitions.
Interpret specifications and investigate difficulties; review vendor documents.
Actively participate in design reviews and provide technical input to proposals as required.
Develop alternative solutions, identify risks and benefits, and appraise precedents and data for decision-making.
Deliver small-scale projects in consultancy contexts, within an established program management plan.
Provide technical input and support to proposals as required.
Qualifications
Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 15+ years of experience in executing offshore Oil & Gas projects.
