Job Summary
Manage the inventory operations within our dark stores. The Inventory Controller will be responsible for monitoring Days on Hand (DOH), reducing shrinkage, ensuring stock accuracy, and conducting regular stock audits. Key Responsibilities
Monitor Days on Hand (DOH) : Track and analyze inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained. Monitor Days on Hand (DOH) : Implement strategies to minimize excess inventory and avoid stockouts. Monitor Days on Hand (DOH) : Generate and review daily, weekly, and monthly DOH reports. Monitor Days on Hand (DOH) : Identify and analyze shrinkage patterns and causes. Monitor Days on Hand (DOH) : Develop and implement loss prevention strategies. Monitor Days on Hand (DOH) : Collaborate with the operation team to minimize theft and damages. Stock Accuracy : Maintain accurate inventory records through regular updates and reconciliations. Stock Accuracy : Perform regular cycle counts and full physical inventory audits. Stock Accuracy : Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical counts and system records. Stock Audits : Plan and conduct comprehensive stock audits on a regular basis. Stock Audits : Prepare audit reports and provide actionable insights to management. Stock Audits : Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies during audits. Data Analysis and Reporting : Analyze inventory data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement. Data Analysis and Reporting : Prepare detailed inventory reports for senior management. Data Analysis and Reporting : Utilize inventory management software and tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience as an Inventory Controller or similar role in a retail or e-commerce environment. Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and practices. Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or equivalent). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
