Electrical Engineer

Overview

AtkinsRéalis is looking for an Electrical Engineer in Riyadh, KSA .

Responsibilities

• Specification Study : Conduct detailed studies of project specifications to ensure alignment with client requirements and technical standards.
• Control & Protection Schematic Review : Review control and protection schematic drawings from partner units to ensure accuracy and functionality.
• SAS Document Review : Analyze System Automation Schematics (SAS) documents, including Functional Design Specifications, SAS Architecture, GTP, and BOQ.
• Substation Equipment Review : Evaluate primary and secondary substation switchgear / equipment schematics, focusing on coordination with protection schematics.
• Protection SLD Preparation : Prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLD) for protection systems, ensuring compliance with client specifications.
• CT / CVT / PT Application Checks : Perform application checks and calculations for Current Transformers (CT), Capacitor Voltage Transformers (CVT), and Potential Transformers (PT) with respect to protective relays and protection functions.
• Cable Philosophy & Interconnection Schedules : Develop and review cable philosophies and interconnection schedules to ensure system integration.
• Tender & Vendor Review : Review tender / vendor offers related to Control & Relay (C&R) panels to ensure technical compatibility and cost-efficiency.
• Client Interaction : Collaborate with clients for the approval of engineering drawings and documents.
• Sales & Margin Optimization : Achieve sales targets and improve gross margins through effective engineering optimization.
• Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) : Conduct FAT for electrical equipment such as transformers, current transformers, and voltage transformers to ensure product quality and performance.
