Senior Quality Engineer

Overview

Salla, a leading technology company, is seeking a dedicated Senior Quality Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products and services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute test plans, identify and report software defects, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes.

Responsibilities

• Understanding, implementing, and updating the testing approach.
• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Ensuring the appropriate testing tasks are scheduled during release and iteration planning.
• Actively collaborating with developers and business stakeholders to clarify requirements, especially in terms of testability, consistency, and completeness.
• Ability to remove roadblocks and escalate risks.
• Determine appropriate test approach to validate all functional changes and ensure current functionality.
• Participate at the project team level and coordinate the work of the quality engineering team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where team collaboration and personal pride in the quality of work are highly valued.
• Identifies the root cause of quality problems, and coordinates modifications or other corrective actions.
