Electrical Technician(6 Months Shutdown) | Oil and Gas |, KSA

Job descriptionPerform electrical maintenance, repair, and installation work on LV and MV systems including motors, switchgear, panels, transformers, MCCs, and distribution boards. Troubleshoot electrical faults using test instruments such as multimeters, insulation testers, and clamp meters. Support the disconnection, removal, and reconnection of electrical systems during shutdowns. Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical components and systems. Read and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and job packages. Ensure compliance with safety procedures, including Lockout / Tagout (LOTO), permit to work (PTW), and confined space entry (if applicable). Coordinate with mechanical and instrumentation teams during integrated maintenance tasks. Document work performed and report any anomalies or unsafe conditions to supervisors. Adhere to shutdown timelines and quality standards under high pressure environments. Education : Technical Diploma or Industrial Training Certificate in Electrical Technology or related field. Experience :
o Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical shutdown within petrochemical, refinery, or industrial plant environments.
o Proven experience in shutdowns, turnarounds, or major maintenance events.
- Certifications (Preferred) :
o Aramco / SABIC Permit Holder certification
o OSHA / NFPA 70E or equivalent electrical safety training
o LOTO awareness training o Cable jointing and termination certification (if applicable)
12 Hours duty / 7 days a week
Overtime not applicable.
