Senior Accountant – Watania Steel

Watania Steel is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our Finance Team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in accounting within the manufacturing sector and hands‑on expertise in SAP systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Manage month‑end and year‑end closing processes
• Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support business planning and decision‑making
• Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes
• Mentor and supervise junior accounting staff
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities
• Handle costing and inventory control functions
• Perform day‑to‑day accounting tasks, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and ledger maintenance
• Process payments and manage banking transactions
• Maintain relationships with banks
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections
• Support Zakat and tax filing processes
