Responsibilities

• Supporting our business lines and customer by providing timely, clear and accurate financial insight, analysis and guidance on performance to the delivery teams.
• Supporting project managers with budgets, forecasting and variance analysis, ensuring accurate financial control and delivery to plan.
• Review and challenge costs, accruals, and provisions, ensuring financial accuracy and provide monthly / quarterly financial insight and reports, highlighting key risks, opportunities and corrective actions.
• Attending relevant project meetings, ensuring reliable financial information is used, all financial impacts are assessed and providing healthy challenge where required.
• Ensuring the project invoicing process is enacted correctly each period.
• Ensuring accurate and timely recording of all project revenue and costs.
• Identify and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy and business.
• Supervise, maintain and operate financial systems and processes in accordance with the latest internal and external standards.
• Work closely with the wider finance team to ensure consistency of reporting and alignment with group policies, supporting the Head of Finance where required.
• Support month-end and year-end activities and audits where required.
