Overview
Job Purpose : Supervise and manage mechanical maintenance activities including preventive and corrective maintenance, shutdown planning, and overhauls. Organize maintenance, troubleshooting, and modification of mechanical machinery in line with maintenance plans, HS&E guidelines, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise team activities to meet targets and ensure policy compliance
- Monitor preventive and corrective maintenance for mechanical machinery
- Ensure accurate SAP documentation including fault logs, repair methods, time, labor, and materials used
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and minimize downtime
- Promote condition-based maintenance through troubleshooting and RCA
- Troubleshoot critical mechanical issues and ensure compliance with quality and HSSE standards
- Analyze maintenance data and propose reliability improvements
- Prepare feasibility studies for new installations or modifications, including technical evaluations and cost estimates
- Forecast manpower, budget, and material needs for maintenance execution
- Coordinate shutdown maintenance for critical mechanical machinery ensuring scope, cost, and timeline objectives are met
- Ensure accurate documentation of mechanical maintenance activities
- Enforce HSSE compliance and permit-to-work procedures
- Collaborate with HSSE to ensure safety rules are followed and incidents investigated
- Prepare monthly / annual requirements for machinery, spare parts, and materials
- Evaluate procurement quotations and recommend appropriate machinery and materials
- Maintain relationships with internal departments and external contractors
- Liaise with EPC / OEM contractors for technical guidance
- Supervise SAP processes including planning, scheduling, and data management to ensure system integrity
- Contribute to change initiatives and improvement projects
- Adhere to organizational policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum Experience
8–10 years in mechanical maintenance in water desalination and power generation plants, including 2 years in a supervisory role
