Overview
Reporting : Administrative : Maintenance Manager
Job Purpose : Supervise and manage electrical maintenance activities including preventive and corrective maintenance, planned outages, and overhauls for all electrical equipment in line with maintenance plans, HSE guidelines, and quality standards.
Number of Staff Supervised : Direct Reports : ~2–3 | Indirect Reports : ~7–8
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise team activities to meet targets and ensure policy compliance
- Monitor preventive and corrective maintenance for electrical equipment
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and minimize downtime
- Promote condition-based maintenance through troubleshooting and RCA
- Troubleshoot critical electrical issues and ensure compliance with quality and HSE standards
- Analyze maintenance data and propose reliability improvements
- Prepare feasibility studies for new installations or modifications
- Forecast manpower and material needs for maintenance execution
- Coordinate annual outage maintenance for critical electrical equipment
- Ensure accurate SAP documentation of maintenance activities
- Enforce HSSE compliance and permit-to-work procedures
- Collaborate with HSE to ensure safety rules are followed and incidents investigated
- Prepare monthly / annual requirements for equipment and spare parts
- Conduct technical evaluations with procurement for material selection
- Maintain relationships with internal departments and external contractors
- Liaise with EPC / OEM contractors for technical guidance
- Supervise SAP processes including planning, scheduling, and data management
- Contribute to change initiatives and improvement projects
- Adhere to organizational policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager

Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
Minimum Experience
Minimum Experience : 8–10 years in electrical maintenance in water desalination and power generation plants, including 2 years in a supervisory role
