Key Responsibilities and Duties :

• Performs Polysomnographic procedures (PSG) adult and pediatric.
• Performs positive airway pressure (PAP) mask fitting and titration.
• Prepares and calibrates equipment required for testing to determine proper functioning and makes adjustment if necessary.
• Demonstrates healthcare partner of physician to the patient in rendering pre and posts informative and educative data for PSG and PAP procedure.
• Applies electrodes and sensors according to accepted published standards.
• Performs appropriate physiology calibration to ensure proper signal and make adjustment if necessary.
• Gathers and analyzes patients’ information.
• Performs polysomnographic record scoring.
• Assists with scoring sleep stages by applying professionally accepted guidelines.
• Assists with scoring clinical events (such as respiratory events, cardiac events, limb movements, arousal etc) with center specific protocols.
• Assists with the generation of accurate reports by tabulating sleep / wake and clinical events data.
