INTECH Automation Intelligence is seeking a Safety Officer to join our team. This role supports Process Automation Solutions across industries such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Utilities, and Renewable Energy. You will conduct safety analyses, enforce HSE standards, monitor site activities, and ensure compliance with regulatory and company safety requirements across project operations. You will contribute to projects using expertise in Integrated Control Systems, SCADA Virtualization, Wellhead Automation, and Telecommunication.

Our solutions include virtualization of SCADA systems for satellite sites, pipeline networks, and digital oilfields to optimize wellhead and upstream / downstream automation processes.

What you’ll lead and deliver

• Conduct Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and risk assessments for all activities, including instrument installation, mechanical, civil and electrical works. Develop and implement site-specific safety plans and emergency response procedures.
• Monitor work activities such as HOT work, cable laying, scaffold erection, and welding to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Supervise permit-to-work (PTW) systems including hot work, confined space, electrical isolations, and working at height.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety induction sessions for new workers and subcontractors. Promote a positive safety culture through awareness campaigns and regular HSE meetings.
• Perform regular inspections of scaffolds, cable paths, panels, UPS & battery enclosures, welding sites, and commissioning areas. Identify unsafe conditions / practices and recommend corrective actions. Maintain accurate records of incidents, near misses, and safety violations and submit reports as required by company and client.
• Coordinate with project engineers, site supervisors, and subcontractors to embed HSE requirements in daily operations. Interface with client HSE representatives and ensure compliance with local legal and regulatory safety requirements.
• Review and approve method statements and risk assessments submitted by contractors. Maintain HSE documentation, including checklists, permits, and inspection logs.
