Contract and Planning Manager - IFMI

We are seeking an experienced Contract and Planning Manager to oversee contract management, project planning, and claims administration for our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, extensive experience in contract management, and a deep understanding of FIDIC and other industry standards.

Key Responsibilities :

Oversee contract administration, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and company policies.

Develop, monitor, and manage project schedules to ensure timely completion.

Handle claims and dispute resolution processes effectively.

Collaborate with project teams to ensure proper contract execution and risk mitigation.

Ensure all project planning activities align with contractual requirements.

Prepare and review project documentation, including contracts, claims, variations, and progress reports.

Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders for contract negotiations and execution.

Identify project risks and develop strategies for resolution.

Implement best practices in contract management and project planning.

Qualifications & Requirements :

Education : Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.

Experience : Minimum 10 years of experience in construction projects, with proven experience as a Contract and Planning Manager.

Certifications : Professional certifications such as FIDIC or other relevant credentials are highly preferred.

Skills :

Strong understanding of contract and claim management.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in project management tools and software.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Language : Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is required.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience working on large-scale construction projects.

Knowledge of local construction laws and regulations.

Experience in handling arbitration and dispute resolution cases.
