Connexa Recruitment are working in partnership with an award-winning International Architectural Design practice who are looking for a Lead Structural Site Engineer on prestigious building projects on site in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Role
As a Lead Structural Site Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the structural design and integrity of construction projects from inception through to building completion. This role requires strong technical expertise in structural engineering, excellent project management skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities
Lead the structural engineering design and analysis for various construction projects, ensuring compliance with local codes and regulations. Conduct site visits and assessments to evaluate existing structures and provide recommendations for repairs or improvements. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to develop cost-effective and innovative structural solutions. Review and approve technical drawings, calculations, and specifications prepared by junior engineers or drafting teams. Manage and mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and support as needed. Perform structural analysis using software tools and manual calculations to verify design integrity and performance. Conduct feasibility studies and prepare reports outlining findings and recommendations. Ensure that projects are completed within budget and on schedule while meeting quality standards and client expectations. Participate in meetings with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to discuss project requirements and resolve technical issues. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering. Experience in structural engineering with a focus on site design and construction. Proven track record of managing complex structural projects from concept to completion across high rise towers, hospitality, commercial, high rise residential. Strong proficiency in structural analysis software such as SAP2000, ETABS, or similar. Excellent knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and industry standards. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present technical information to a non-technical audience. Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience mentoring junior staff. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Working Conditions
Based on active construction site, with frequent coordination with both design and construction teams. May require occasional travel to design offices or client meetings. Seniority level
