The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a talented Senior Structural Engineer to join our team at our office in Riyadh to work on the design of some of the most exciting structural design projects in KSA and internationally. As part of an established team of expert engineers and CAD technicians, you will prepare detailed structural calculations for multiple materials using appropriate software. You will work across sectors such as Education, Commercial, Healthcare, Retail and Critical Systems, and will have the opportunity over time to assume greater levels of responsibility and autonomy as your professional skills develop, and as you progress toward Chartership.

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed structural calculations for multiple materials using appropriate software.

Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines on a variety of projects.

Work across sectors including Education, Commercial, Healthcare, Retail and Critical Systems.

Develop and apply creative design solutions in steel, reinforced concrete and masonry.

Assume increasing levels of responsibility and autonomy as skills develop and Chartership progresses.

Qualifications

Chartered or actively working towards Chartered status (MIStructE).

Strong practical experience in structural engineering within a consultancy environment.

Proficiency in design / modelling software such as ETABS, SAP, SAFE, Robot, Prokon, and STAAD.Pro.

Experience with Revit.

Ability to produce creative design solutions in multiple materials, including steel, reinforced concrete and masonry.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams.

7 to 10 years post-graduate experience in a similar role or consultancy environment.

Knowledge of Building Codes (KSA / UAE) and international codes.

Knowledge of parametric design and related programmes is advantageous.

Desirable

Experience of producing structural calculation and design reports.
