Senior Legal Officer, MENA, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

About the Role

Senior Legal Officer, MENA – Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a senior legal role within Getinge’s global commercial legal team. You will report to the Head of Legal CEE & MEA and provide high‑quality, strategic and practical legal advice, guidance and support for Getinge’s business in the MENA region.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on legal support for the general corporate affairs of Getinge’s legal entities and operations in the MENA region, including governance‑related matters.
• Manage relevant contracts with customers and suppliers, contractors, distributors and agents, service providers, software / technology providers and other internal corporate entities.
• Draft, review and negotiate a variety of agreements.
• In cooperation with the global commercial legal team, draft, revise and implement contract templates for various transactions and support continuous improvement of standard‑form agreements and legal processes.
• Implement contract management administration in collaboration with the global legal team.
• Identify and advise on legal, policy and regulatory risks and the legal liabilities associated with the MENA business.
• Collaborate with the Ethics & Compliance team to support implementation of MENA policies and directives and governance structures.
• Conduct training for various legal and compliance‑related topics as relevant.
• Keep abreast of legal and compliance issues that could impact the MENA organization.
• Perform other related duties and special projects as required.
