Your New Role : What’s Involved?
Provide technical expertise for Environmental (and Social) Impact Assessments, CEMPs, EMS, and other environmental-related documentation.
Support the immediate team and the broader WSP group by contributing to projects and proposals.
Coordinate with subconsultants as needed and conduct baseline surveys for input into EIAs and monitoring.
Ensure that all environmental and sustainability permitting requirements are met during the design and construction phases.
Possess a solid understanding of environmental management plans and systems, including their practical implementation.
Assess environmental performance across projects.
Demonstrate commercial awareness and familiarity with proposal writing and project-related tasks.
Actively pursue professional development by engaging in diverse projects, seeking mentorship, and participating in internal and external training when necessary.
Coordinate with relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects within the environmental scope.
Experience in liaising with international lenders for technical advisory roles and international assessments would be an asset.
We’d Love to Hear from You If You Have :
A relevant degree.
Comfort in directly liaising with contractors and performing site work.
Specialization in an environmental field is advantageous.
Experience working in consultancy or as an environmental specialist on large infrastructure projects.
A strong understanding of various technical environmental disciplines.
Familiarity with Middle East environmental legislation and practices.
Experience working in Saudi Arabia is a plus.
Experience in stakeholder and public engagement.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
Additional language skills, particularly in Arabic or French, would be beneficial.
A reasonable level of sustainability knowledge would be advantageous.
