Senior Landscape Architect

Position Title : Senior Landscape Architect

Work Location / Term : Riyadh, KSA / Full-time

Supervision : Design Review, Supervision, Site Management

Reports to : Construction Director

Responsibilities :

Lead the design and review of landscape plans, ensuring sustainability, functionality, and aesthetics

Oversee site works to ensure quality, compliance, and timely delivery

Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate landscape elements into overall project designs

Implement quality control procedures for hardscape, softscape, and irrigation systems

Act as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders

Competency Requirements :

Proven experience as a Senior Landscape Architect in large-scale infrastructure or landscape projects, particularly within the context of international PMC contracts.

Extensive hands-on experience in landscape design, site supervision, and quality control processes, with a strong emphasis on sustainable and environmentally responsible practices.

Strong understanding of landscape architecture principles, plant selection, irrigation systems, and their integration into complex infrastructure projects.

In-depth knowledge of local environmental regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices in landscape architecture.

Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp) and project management tools, with a systematic approach to managing landscape projects.

Education :

For BSc Holders : Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field from a recognized university, with over 15 years of relevant experience.

For MSc Holders : Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field from a recognized university, with over 12 years of relevant experience.

Professional Membership : Membership in a recognized chartered institution related to landscape architecture (e.g., ASLA, LI, or equivalent).

Language Skills : Mandatory English communication skills. Arabic skills are advantageous.

Professional Experience : A minimum of 12-15 years of experience in landscape architecture, depending on educational background, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
